Thomas A. Rizk is an executive and entrepreneur with over 30 years experience in the Healthcare, Technology, Real Estate, Energy, and Education sectors. Throughout his career, Mr. Rizk has built and led successful companies, managed alternative investments, and invested in special opportunities.
In 2013, Mr. Rizk founded Rizk Ventures with Linda Rizk to facilitate their family’s investments. Rizk Ventures specializes in Venture Capital, Private Equity, and Real Estate. He currently leads the firm as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Since its founding in 2013, Rizk Ventures has invested in multiple private technology, healthcare, and education companies. In addition, Rizk Ventures and its real estate partners have purchased over $1 billion in domestic real estate in Pennsylvania, Florida, Minnesota, and Arizona, and international real estate in Colombia.
Prior to founding Rizk Ventures, Mr. Rizk founded TractManager Inc., today’s recognized leader in providing technology-based contract management solutions to healthcare organizations. Mr. Rizk co-invented the technology platform’s patented processes. During his tenure as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Rizk led the company’s growth from a start-up operation to a company that served over 25% of the hospitals in the United States with more than 130,000 end users at over 5,000 locations throughout all 50 states.
In 1994, Mr. Rizk led the family-owned real estate partnership Cali Associates through its highly successful initial public offering as Cali Realty Corporation, a real estate investment trust (REIT) traded on the NYSE. Under his leadership as President and Chief Executive Officer, the company became one of the fastest-growing publicly traded REITs in the United States and its total market capitalization grew from $300 million to over $3.6 billion. In 1997, Mr. Rizk led the merger of Cali Realty Corporation into the Mack Company and Patriot American Office Group. Mr. Rizk then served as Chief Executive Officer, a Director of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation, and a member of the company’s Executive Committee of the Board of Directors.
Thomas A. Rizk currently serves as a special advisor to Counter Human Trafficking Compliance Solutions, a global compliance and advisory company that provides corporations the training, assessment, research, and supply chain transparency required to combat human trafficking, forced labor, and child labor.
Mr. Rizk graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Business Administration, and went on to receive his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and his LL.M in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
